Hi,

I have a problem where if a visitor goes to the actual node and clicks on the download link the download counter module will see and count the download, but if they click on tthe download link I have created in one of my views the download counter module will not see or count the download.

I have the view to output as a link and in the link path I put:
sites/default/files/[upload_fid]

I have installed the downloadcounter module version 6.x-1.3 with upload 6.14 and views 6.x-2.6

Is anyone working on this module any more? If not could someone please give me another idea for a download file counter in drupal 6.x using the views module please?

For me it's working here on views page: http://www.forniture-alberghiere.net/altea7-srl but it was configured from jaruka.com and not from me.

closing due to new maintainer and an unsupported version. A new 6.x-2.x version is forthcoming, please open new issues against that version when available if necessary. I did test this with the new version and it works with views fine.
