Questions about intern linking + advice needed

Hello Drupal users/developers/etc,

Currently im building a website about cars. Till now a didn’t had so many problems that I couldn’t solve myself. But I am having some questions now regarding some modules and the use of those.

Questions:

- I would like to have a searchbox like on imdb.com. So a regular searchbox and the option to search in a particularly content type.

Now I found the following module: Search_type (http://drupal.org/project/search_type)

After installing it I found out it did what I wanted. But not exactly, in the dropbox is also the option to search in users. And there is also the italic-bold not able to selected text “content”.

My question: I want only the specific content types in the dropbox that I allow (news, brands and types). It seems not possible with this module, is there a other? Or do I need to do some modifications? (I am not a programmer but with some help I can maybe do it.)

- The next thing I would to have is keyword linking. With keyword linking I mean something like it is done on Wikipedia.

I found the following module: keyword_link
(http://drupal.org/project/keyword_link)

It seems to do what I want the only thing is, it is a dev release plus it is only being used by plus minus 50 people.

My question: Is there an alternative? A more used and trustfully module what does the same?

- I am building a database with content hopefully soon a few hundred pages. But I am also posting news. Now for example, if I have news about Ferrari how can I add automatically a link to my views-page with all Ferrari types? Or the way around. If I am on a Ferrari model page how can I show lets say the last five or ten news articles related to Ferrari?

Last but not least, would like to have some advice about the setup.

I have currently content types for:
- brands
- models.
Each content type has his own CCK fields so I can put easily the needed information. Every brand has his own Views also some type of car models (e.g. F1) has his own Views. Now I wonder is this the best setup? And what is the best with taxomony?

So mainly it goes about intern linking and the setup if anyone has some advice, ideas or suggestions I would like to hear them. If it is not related I do not mind, any advice is welcome!

Thanks in advance!
Richard Berger
