We're trying to move our widgets library using jQuery UI (jquery.ui.tabs, jquery.ui.accordion, etc) for future support (UI in D7, etc). I can't find jquery.ui.carousel in the download, did you create it? If so are you planning on contributing it to UI?

In the UI Library no. The plugin I found was on the jquery plugin site.
I've forked it and started actively developing it on github since I haven't be able to get in contact with the maintainer.

Turns out I later found there's a namespace collision with the 3d carousel in the UI laboratory but I'm not really concerned with dealing with this at the moment.

There's also a wiki entry about about another carousel entry but I don't know if there's any action around it.
