jquery

Hello all,

I want to include the latest version of jquery as well as the jquery ui. I tried using the jquery ui and jquery update modules but it wasnt fully working. For example the draggable's were working but the tab's werent. So I would just like to know what I can do to include them manually. I do not mind modifying the core files. Obviously I need this functionality so it is not a problem to modify core files. Any help is appreciated.

Anyone at all?

Anyone at all?

Well, I don't modify core

Well, I don't modify core files myself... but you could try looking at the jquery.js file inside the misc directory (at same level as sites directory) and compare that to the latest version from jquery.com.

I have no idea of this would work, and it just might cause havok with your site, but try simply replacing that with the latest version.

This is strictly frowned upon, probably because the next time a security update advances to Drupal_6.15, you'll need to remember to replace that file again...

Plus, there could be some sorta dependency on the version of jQuery included with Drupal. If it was so easy to update jQuery, I would think that we'd have some facility to auto-update within Drupal...

I'm interested in knowing if that worked. So, please report back if it does.

Maybe this is what you are
