I have installed this module and enabled it. When I creat a new content type 'link' I expected to be able to create a new field of the data type 'websnapr' or similar but no such field appears. likewise there are no websnapr options with the link field

Have you input your websnapr api key? If so the websnapr options should appear on the display settings panel for a link field.

There is not a separate websnapr field type - this module only adds new display options to the link field type, which are available on the display panel and also to views.

Ah I see now - the option for it are under display fields. Excellent is all seems to be working just fine now

I have the same problem except I am not seeing the field anywhere. I am using 6.14. I loaded the regular websnapr and it shows me the bubble when mouse over.
