I have a D6.10 installed on the site that is hosted at hostmonster.com which is a shared hosting provider. From past one month or so I am seeing CPU Throttling issues in my hosting account cPanel. Initially the rate was not so alarming but now it has crossed 8000 seconds mark in last 24 hours which means in past 24 hours the site was hanged for 8000 seconds or for more than 2 hours. When I consulted the support team they told me to check up with the slow mysql queries that might be eating up all the CPU resources.
Because this is very big site which uses large number of modules so I can't figure out what exactly is causing the problem. Also I am not sure if this problem is being caused by the installed theme which darkgrail which is developed as a sub theme of zen but still in beta.
Some of the notables modules installed are user relationships, private messeges, user points, user points contributed modules, adsense, adsense injector, views, panels, ctools, rules, workflow, voting api, extra voting points, workspace, user permissions, statistics advanced, messeging, sms framwork, sms plug, search 404, share this, poormanscron, recaptcha, pathauto, pagetitle, node words, crowda etc. There are lot more modules to mention but it is not possible all of them here.
Please help

obviously it's not darkgrail.
Obviously it's not because of darkgrail - Themes has nothing to do with mysql queries. Maybe something with the installed modules.
Having the exact same
Having the exact same problem. I am on Bluehost, which is owned by the same group as Hostmonster.
My site has been throttled 19066.866 seconds in the past 24 hours. Have you had any luck figuring out the problem?
Just spoke with Bluehost
Just spoke with Bluehost support. They said my site was receiving too much traffic and I need to look at a VPS. Kind of surprising since my site is receiving about 30k pageviews a day. I figured Bluehost would be able to handle more.
That's a lot of traffic!
