On some browsers, I notice the Quicktime MP3 player shows up as a black band:

I know it is a codec issue for those browsers, but how do I just get the Flash to work?

I know there is a flash player option, but absolutely nothing shows up when I choose it. However, when I manually put in the flash HTML/Javascript code into the editor, then it works. (However, that is not a long term solution because it requires the content developer to use the PHP input option, not the TinyMCE).
So are there more steps to make the TinyMCE Media feature work with the Flash MP3 player instead of the Quicktime?

twodHave you enabled any special plugins like Teaser Break, Image Assist or some native TinyMCE plugins?
Which exact TinyMCE version are you using?
Does the manually inserted code stay there if you switch from a non-editor format to an editor format and back again? (Or if you "Disable rich text", paste the code, "Enable rich text" and again "Disable rich text"?)
Do you see any part of the code in the source of the rendered node?
Which browsers does it work in, and which ones does it not work in?
Could this be related to #622468: Params tag removed in IE or maybe #368388: TinyMCE strips HTML not supported by plugins/buttons?
