Description

Would be nice to see a button with functionality that would give us possibility in one click approve selected and decline deselected suggestions (and possibly inverse function in another button)

Approving a suggestion on the translate page, you get exactly this. I fail to understand what you are missing.

Ok, I`ll try to explain
Example...
In Moderate queue, moderator selects some strings... 4, for example and push "approve", for other 6 - decline is a variant, but it could be done only after page reload...

With "approve selected and decline unselected"(+ "decline selected and approve unselected") function moderating would be more faster...

BTW
after a lot of aproving-declining-editing have a few addons to this feature request

Often, we have a lot of strings that have only a mistake in suggestion field and there are a lot of such strings...(I think near 80% declined in Ukrainian queue to this point...)
after approving good strings we need to edit all of unapproved good but with mistakes...
searching every string in "Translate" is a time. The time.
Is it possible to make suggestions editable in "Moderate" ? By default. It helps moderators to save time.

Cause often changing "o" to "e" make string approve-able against decline-able

after a few calculations....

today Ukrainian L.D.O group has ~10000 suggestions
after approved ~5000 I know, that 60-80% of strings approved and other - declined
So I know, that from 10000 near 2000 are good but with mistakes
Changing every string in "Translate" generates a lot of clicks
(
1Go to Translate
2Select "Untranslated"
3Select "with suggestion"
4type a word for search
5 push Filter
6 click on "star" for looking at suggestion string
)
multiplying 2000 to 6 clicks gives me a lot of depressive thoughts and make me sick 8))))

If suggestion field in moderation queue would be editable by default - no clicks anymore - just fixing mistakes and checking checkbox for "approve selected and decline unselected"

So priority for me and I think for most of "clickers" is critical...

Sorry for my English...

Hum, with the moderation screen

1Go to Moderate
2Select "Untranslated"
3type a word for search
4 push Filter

It's two clicks less :) You don't need to pick stuff with suggestions and you don't need to use the star. Are you aware of #563128: Rework the translation UI?

But in Moderation queue we can`t edit suggested string...
That 2000 strings I talking about are good enough for approving but have mistakes and need editing before

Are you aware of #563128: Rework the translation UI?

Good issue and very usefull but I think this is not the topic of mine 8)

@podarok: I'm obviously not going to work on a parallel editing interface, if I believe that solves your issue. Maybe it's not going to be deployed soon. When you were waiting for your team to be created, you considered it a discrimination if I worked on bugfixes and features instead of adding teams. Consider the list of teams waiting and their feeling now. I know the most important thing for you know is features, but we need to balance the needs of all teams. You were the only one requesting this feature, while the translation UI rework received feedback from many in the community. It also helps putting suggestion review and editing way closer to you on the Translate screen, which makes the moderation screen even less useful (Konstantin originally even wanted to remove that screen altogether).

Unless there are more people supporting this UI change instead of Konstantin's suggestions, I don't see prioritizing this above that one (both of which aim solving the same problems) and putting more teams on hold while concentrating on feature development is a good idea.
