If you are using an ampersand (&) in the menu, the Menu Breadcrumb module prints it as &

I'm not sure if there is anyway to correct this or not, I was unable to find any documentation on the matter.

Please test using 6.x-1.x-dev and re-open this issue if it's not fixed there.

Otherwise it's #344449: Double-escaped strings causing improper output of special characters (also duplicated in #634542: Using Menu Breadcrumb with Custom Taxonomy View for Taxonomy Terms outputs double encoded html entities.).
