**I saw another post about this but it was using Chaos Tools RC -- I am not. **

The strangest thing happened overnight - all of our panels content disappeared. I see all my panel pages in the admin area, but the content tabs are suddenly empty, as are all my site's pages!

I'm using:
- Chaos Tools 6.x-1.0
- Panels 6.x-3.0

I get this error when I try to preview the content:
Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in ... sites/all/modules/panels/includes/display-edit.inc on line 369.

any suggestion of what to do? this is a massive problem.

STATUS UPDATE: I upgraded panels and ctools -- some elements have returned but still no content. anyone have info to help us? thanks

happy to provide files, templates etc. if you need them.

SECOND UPDATE:
I refreshed our themes and that seems to have brought our layout areas back. We lost all the content from a few panels, mysteriously, but they're easy to rebuild (the ones that disappeared from the primary links menu were the only ones that lost content).

Strange, but reassuring at least that they've returned. If it helps anyone, upgrading to the latest releases of panels and ctools, and refreshing (resubmitting) the themes seems to be what helped.

Obviously, something happened to cause this situation. Without having some idea what that something was, this is likely to be a bit of a mystery. I can't tell from reading this what that something might be. Perhaps an incomplete upgrade?
