Release notes
The main feature that was brought in at V6.3 is the ability to use views inside the tabs and / or content area of the ajax slideshow. This provides much greater flexibility in defining the exact content and appearance of the slideshow. Possible use cases:
1. The need to present only part of the node fields inside the content area after they went through manipulation available by the views module (e.g. rewrite output / link this field / etc)
2. Having images inside the tabs
There are many additional use cases for making use of views inside the slideshow. please be sure to README file, especially the 'important notes' part.

#831586: Support for view arguments and multiple views? - additional feature: support for arguments when the slideshow is node-based
#857056: Change CSS on the slideshow buttons, #844546: a CSS patch improving the appearance of the tabs - enhanced feature: used the contributed patches to improve the slideshow appearance (css).
#867436: Show node teaser - additional feature: used the contributed patch to support teaser mode when in node-based mode.

Release notes
Ajax Slideshow module was completely revamped. This was done in order to cater recurring requests focusing on the slideshow navigation capabilities.
Main features added:
- Tabs support (by title or by enumeration)
- Navigation buttons
- Effects selection
- Customizable effects
- Customizable theme
- Block display
The new version is utilizing the JQuery Tools foundation. Hence the ajax slideshow as of V2 is dependent on 2 modules: Views and JQuery Plugin

This is a maintenance release that corrects issues found on V1.1. It also improves significantly the slideshow page outgoing links performance.

Additionally outgoing links will work much faster than on V1.1 due to an enhancement to the js code.
