I'm not sure how this could happen. Can you reproduce this in the latest version and if so can you provide steps to reproduce it?

I take that back, this seems to be a regression in FeedAPI?

Turns out pointed fingers too quickly. Seems like the culprit is probably #564492: Plugin definition incompatibilities. I'm working with merlin on a resolution.

Committed a fix that will be in the soon available 1.2 release. Will require the new 6.x-1.2 release of ctools.

I have exactly the same error using 6.x-1.x-dev 2009-Oct-21 22.02 KB with Ctools 1.2

Are you posting an update with your fix soon? I'd be glad to check it out quickly.
