url override option for blocks

Hi,
wouldn't it be a good idea to have url override settings not only for view-panes, but also for blocks? This could make it possible to use seach block and get result page displayed in panel-pane.
What do you think about it?

Panels 3.1 contains a url-overridable search block.
That said, it can't really be done as a generic. Blocks don't really take input. It has to be something the pane itself is able to allow, so it must be implemented on a case-by-case basis.
