Gmapview not returning results when exposed nodetype filter is set to 'any'

After entering the url of my view i like to see the gmap showing up all the results.

Instead i get the empty text message i created saying ("there are no results")

In my view i am able to filter(exposed) on node type.
The select list (dropdown) shows 'any' by default.
But despite the filter being on 'any' i get no results.
Once i choose a content type i do get a result.

How can i configure the gmap (view) so that it shows all the results with the exposed filter set on 'any'?
