Is there a module(s) already in place, for webmasters, for managing requests from customers to do work on their sites? I build all my customers sites using Drupal (won't do it any other way), and want to set up a system where they can log in and submit requests for work, and I will have a 'work queue' to manage the requests and jobs. We used a 'Remedy" system when I worked for Xerox to do this for work requests for printer repair, and I want to set up something similar for my business (Galveston County Websites - www.galcowebs.com). If someone else has not thought of this already (would surprise me), I will develop and contribute it to the community, as this would help any web designer managing large numbers of sites. Thanks to all!

...GalCo found Storm

...stumbled across Storm, which looks at quick glance to be close if not it. I am checking it out....

Ticketing system

Sounds like you're looking for a ticketing system, not a CRM. See http://groups.drupal.org/node/17948

On the theory that Simple is Good, we're using the Drupal project and project issue modules for our Drupal-related work. We're getting rid of Remedy, and glad to do it.

Also Within Drupal

OpenAtrium was originally built as an in-house extranet for Development Seed, so out of the box it has casetracker functionality.

Also, it's pretty easy to build a case tracker using Comment CCK and Views.

This is way old, but my solution is working very well!

Just a bit more Drupal knowledge has allowed me to be able to create my own back room management system. It really only takes use of cck and views to do it! I just did everything by the book(s) and have my own custom system integrated into the main site that works better than Sugar and such!

Drupal and Open Source will forever rock!
