Gallery Assist not uploading 'some' images properly...

Hello Arran,

When in the most cases Gallery Assist work OK and you not find here other post with your same issues we have to investigate better 'your case' over another way. I have not problems to help you.

The question (or desperate attak?) "Way the module not upload images correctly in gallery_assist6 ... ... " ist only the product of your desesperation, for the first I hav not idea. Don't worry, we find a solution as quickly as possible.

Please send my over my personly adress one or two images, that not can be uploaded. here my adress jcmc.devel@gmail.com.

I would be pleased when only in very serious cases you use this adress.

I'm having a similar problem. With just Gallery Assist the images showed fine. Once I added, Gallery Assist w/Lightboxed, Imagecache and Lightbox2, with the folder named "lightbox," my images will no longer show. When I upload them, there are no thumbnails or larger images that appear. Did you guys resolve this issue? Your last two posts don't show any text.

I did locate the fix that was traded and installed it successfully.

I also finally realized the public consumption of the gallery relied on anonymous users having permission to view them. Great module!

I am still having a couple of config issues: I cannot remove the time stamp from the authoring info. And I cannot get Captions or titles to display since adding the Lightbox2 extra.

First of all I would like to thank you for the great module. Saved me a lot of time (after having lost many hours trying to set a gallery up in ither ways).

But I seem to have bumped into the same problem as mentioned in this post (missing the files in 2 of the 3 folders, lightboxes not working). I read that there is a fix but since I am quite new to Drupal, I don't know where or how to find it. Could you help me out on this ?

I had this problem for fixed and closed because Arran made a empty cache and after all works.

Please download the version of Gallery Assist 6.x-1.7-alpha1 from www.github.com/jcmc . If you get again the same Problems, please let me know.

Thanks for you quick response. But I'm afraid my problem isn't solved yet.

First I downloaded the version you mentioned, removed the older gallery_assist modules (assist, assist_ic and lightboxes), flush all cach, removed all gallery related content.
Unpacked the downloaded module (files dated 11/11/2009) en activated the module.

When I create a gallery-document and afterwords upload the images, everything works fine for the first image. The second image I try to upload works only partly; the jpg is uploaded to the /gallery_assist/1/gallery_assist37 folder and a "smaller" version to the /gallery_assist/1/gallery_assist37/img folder. However, in contrast to the first image, the image is not copier to the /prev and /thm folders.

For your information, the second uploaded image is smaller than the first one. So I don't think this might be the problem.

Hope you can give me some advise in how to solve this problem.

Suddenly (?) everything works fine, even wit the two mentioned folders empty. It's a pitty that I don't know what did the trick (perhaps somthing with caching ?), but I'm very glad the problem is solved.
