While I grasp the difference between this and SimpleViews (Views Content vs. Views "Surroundings"), these projects go so hand-in-hand it might be worthwhile to integrate or merge.

The 6.x version is not supported anymore. The issue is closed for this reason.
Please upgrade to a supported version and feel free to reopen the issue on the new version if applicable.
