Pixture Reloaded Theme colors changed and lost superfish menu +images

kelvis97 - October 19, 2009 - 04:23

I just enabled im_paypal in modules in Drupal 6 I am using Pixture Reloaded theme w/ configureable color,
when I hit Save on the modules the colors changed to the default and my Superfish drop down menu disappeared.

I had a cycling of images in a block on the front page I did using Views rotator that also
is not there.

My Admin menu disapeared but I went into modules and enabled it, whatever did this, which I assume was
the im_paypal module becuse this happened after I installed the module then enabled thee PayPal through
modules. I know the modules are installeed in the correct folder because I have a few others that I have installed.

I flushed the cache, removed the PayPal module, tried going in to Themes/Pixture Reloaded/configure
and the option to change the color theme was no longer there just a few check boxes.

Looked at my status report:

I dont see anything, that would cause these problems but
I am just learning too.

Dont know if something is corrupted but I had two blocks w/ images
one w/ fading and another w/ imageflow.
Both are gone.

Yesterday I had a problem so I went and downloaded the Pixture reloaded theme,
pulled out the old and replaced w/ new. The problem was then that all color left the site
the Header was white and again had no superfish drop down menus, but, when I put the cursor
over where the menu was I could see the links were still active,.... not the situation now.

I am doing all this on my computer so when installing or removing I shut off MAMP,
I was hoping to upload this to the host Tuesday, I have no idea what is causing this

what browser is in use?

is css aggregation enabled in administer -> performance?

Thanks

CSS optimization is not enabled, I am using for browsers Firefox and Safari, a similar thing happened yesterday, Saturday
this is similar to what happened today, What I ddid yesterday was download a new
pixture reloaded theme, and install then configure,
below is the post from yesterday:

I had a theme set up Pixture reloaded it is a theme in which the color
is configurable, I went into the page were all the themes colors are
available to change configure, I clicked on some locks next to the colors
I had chosen, which are the same colors I have had on this theme for about
a month now. Clicked Save and all color dissapeared, The header color was
white instead of green the Superfish menus dissapeared also
and the logo defaulted to the theme logo
Anyone have any ideas please, I am learning Drupal now a few months
and I am doing this site on my computer, hopefully transferring
to host Monday.

If I reinstall pixture reloaded and reconfigure, thiss is probably going to happen again,
Something must be corrupt ? or what I do not know...

Thanks for your help

when you change colors with the color.module drupal creates and stores a new css file in the files folder.

ensure the file is there, ensure the files folder is writable.

Thanks for your help

There is a folder in
drupal/sites/default/default/files/color/pixture_reloaded-5d6ca80d

in this folder I found style.css

Are there any reports that would tell me anything?
When I go to Themes then pixture reloaded/configure
the ability to change the colors of the theme are not there anymore,
plus my drop down menus have disappeared,.. just a black bar going across.

I am the only user, this site is set up on my computer using MAMP
I wonder if my permissions have been altered?

Looked at my stsus report:

Access to update.php Protected
Configuration file Protected

Would this be normal? I am the only user as mentioned before

Thanks

Kevin

is the color.module enabled?

the files that are protected are normal.

you've not answered whether the files folder is writable, and now whether the files/color/file is readable
