I'm new here and hope you'll have patience. I'm relatively experienced with CMSes but not with drupal. I set up twitter and also installed the twitter block and placed it. Despite putting in the right user name and password, I get the following in the block:

No tweets returned. This happens also when the username/password given is wrong. Please check them.

I was wondering if others have seen this before. Searches didn't reveal anything of use and I'm not sure why a cron job makes a difference nor how this would even be set up so that, if this needs cron job functionality, that the command to be run is triggered by setup.

Setting up cron is important for the site as a whole. There's documentation on it (http://drupal.org/getting-started/6/install/cron).

Questions such as this are better asked in the support queue for the specific module you are using. That way the people who work with the module are more likely to see the question and provide a response.
