I don't think this is a drupal or amazon_store issue - it's a hosting issue. Other people are having this problem. Perhaps your site has been hacked?

I recommend that you
1. Contact your hosting provider.
2. Install on a local system where you can see the non-hacked situation.
Please do report back when you solve this, in case it happens to someone else. Google will find this along with all the others, and perhaps one of them will have a solution.
Just FYI: I turned off Javascript and meta redirects (using the firefox web developer add-on) to prevent redirects and it turns out that /amazon_store is not a page provided by the module. Even without redirect, this page is something that has been injected into your site.

hmm, with a hacking of my site, however, i would think something else would be affected as well. i have only had this problem after installing the amazon_store module, and it was immediate. im not writing it off, tho.
are there any logfiles i can look at or admin pages which will tell me anything about site discrepencies, hacks, etc.? what are the current known open holes in drupals security at this time? is there a page for that?
ive already googled about it, and wasnt able to find anything, also browsed the drup search and havent found "mybookface" at all, yet. i will execute it from my localhost and check things out. in the meantime, i do not link to the amazon_store pages from within my online site. the URL's in reference dont give much information about the issue, thanks for the posting, i appreciate the tips. anyone else wants to chime in, holler.
it could be a byet issue as well, i will request information from byethost support. they have a strange redirect system for 404 errors that kick in here and there. sometimes the drup 404 is returned, sometimes a byet redirect for webhosting thru another company.

You are using byet? That's who many of the other issues were coming from. Contact them!

update:
here is the suggestion back from drupal support:
"byethost5.com

Hi there,
Please remove the keyword
images-amazon.com
from the page that is redirecting.
Best Regards"
how do i go about removing keyowards? i have no idea how to remove keyword from pages.

Well, if you don't want to use Amazon data, you can disable the module. If you want to use Amazon data, with images from Amazon, you'll need to have that in there.
I must say that's an extremely bogus response from support. It sounds like they're deliberately redirecting things that use amazon images.
#7
yeah, i want to use amazon data, thast the point of this mod afterall. ill update support letting them know this is a relevant aspect to the module and see if they have any ideas from there. i will update as info comes back on the issue.

"Hi there,
This is not compatible with the free hosting.
This word is blocked for phishing prevention of amazon phishing sites.
Best Regards"
sucks.

You need a real webhost. What's going on is they're taking commissions from mybookface.net. And they won't even tell you that.
#10
right, i couldnt imagine why they would redirect otherwise. that is pretty crappy.
well, now i know one of the fallbacks to my freehost. i wanna get a real host, i just want to make sure i understand drup/php enough before i start paying. im an old asp boy, so im still learning it. drup does make it pretty simple, tho.
