I'm running the Oct. 10 dev version with Drupal 6.14, importing a CSV with maybe 20 fields and 100 + rows. Almost all the fields are text fields created in CCK. I had one persistent problem: could not get the imported date field to mesh with the date module's date field, but it wasn't important, so I dumped the field. Otherwise, after the usual fiddling and fine tuning, it works like a charm. And I'm very grateful, as this is more or less exactly the functionality our little nonprofit has been looking for in Drupal, so as to be able to upload our list of groups from a locally maintained database up to a Drupal site (yet to be built). Only one small feature request: Because we need to import the same (updated) CSV file from the local machine repeatedly, it would save quite a few clicks if an import operation, once set up and defined, could be repeated with a single button click. In other words, kill or overwrite the previously imported CSV file, upload the fresh CSV file of the same name, apply all the saved parameters and functions from step 1 - 8, and be done. Thank you.

I"ll put in my vote for that too.
