alex.k commentedYou also need to select the content types available for posting under admininster->content management->posting to social network, pls give that a try.

Mike Kennedy commentedHelping a guy out with a site and I am struggling to get User Relationship node access working.
I have set up the the posting to social network options and saved it. (For Create A Blog)
Set the user permissions and saved it.
When I create a blog entry it allows me to choose access permission Post to Friends, Post to Travel Buddies.
Is there anyway to make a post completely private?
Thank you in advance

alex.k commentedUR-Node Access doesn't make nodes private, it can only allow access based on relationships. I.e. it never votes 'no' on node access, only 'yes' or 'abstain'. You'd need another access control module of the many at d.o to make a node private.

Mike Kennedy commentedThank you, I'm sorry to bother you again but I seem to be having trouble making user profiles or Uprofile private to friends only.
I have set it up the same way as create a blog. I have selected User Profile in the post to social network area.
I have set up a demo account, and changed the User Relationships Node Access accordingly in Uprofile. Post to friend selected has been checked accordingly. Unfortunately anonymous users are still able to see the profile, as well as authenticated user who arent approved friends.
Is it something I am missing in the permissions, or content type set up?
Really looking forward to your help, I have spent hours trying to figure this out.
I have attached some photos to help.

msypes commentedNot sure if this is related but enabling UR node_access keeps giving me this message: "Content access permissions need to be rebuilt." This message keeps recurring.
My searching has given me the impression that there's a potential incompatibility with CCK's Content Permissions.
Can anyone verify if this is true, and point me toward a workable solution, if there is one?

alex.k commented@Mike Kennedy I think your problem, and the solution, is the same as #611936: UR Node Access: How to make profile private by default.
@mstypes that's a normal maintenance procedure. If you rebuild them at admin/content/node-settings the message should go away.
