Only forum topics posted by admin show up in Forums [#609456]

I seem to have a problem that is not yet reported.

As admin, I can post forum topics that appear normally in their forums.
When login with another profile and appropriate permissions, I still can create forum topics, but they do not show up under their corresponding forums, though they are correctly created and can still be accessed in admin/content.

If I edit and save hese topics under the admin login, they show up again.

I use TAC_LITE, but disabling it does not change this behaviour.

What can I be missing?
Can it be yet another bug of this good old, fancifull Fourm module?

Note:
- It was working prefectly in the past. I don't know at all when it stopped working
- I have a multi-sites install, the other sites seem to work correctly

Any suggestion or idea welcome

As not reply comes and this prevents my site operations, I switched to critical bug.

OK, I helped myself.

After long search in the many problem about disapearing or missing forum topics, I found the magic:

the Forum module is the culprit. I edited the forum.modul file and made the following changes:
1) applying the patch http://drupal.org/node/422218
2) making the change http://drupal.org/node/361275 #18

I hope these long standing bugs will be committed in the next Drupal core release
