When I set content to "unpublish" what would happen?

Sorry if you feel its a too obvious question, but I havent found information about it.

node status change from 1 to 0 :)

Users cant see the content once it's unpublished

so it wont display in any views (without adding any filter)?

Views grabbs automatically any content the settings specify. As long as you don't have the "Node:Published" filter enabled views has no reason NOT to grab all content fitting the other criteria you have set.

Basically you want this filter on almost every view you create.
