Test squashed up on first slide change

When using any of the sliding transitions, any text on the slide is distorted during the first transition. The text seems to disappear from the first slide and to then overwrite the text from the second slide. Nothing serious but it looks a bit kludge. It only happens on the first slide change. After that its fine. The obvious work-around is to have the whole slide as a bitmap but that looses the advantage of having the text available for a search engine.
