Getting Glossary to work on menus and node titles

Description
I'm using glossary as an acronym "generator". I'll feed the taxanomy with acronyms and definitions and then just have people enter content like usual.
I'm trying to get Glossary to work on menu links and node titles (IE, if the title of my node is "IT Issues" I want "IT" to be an acronym)
Does anyone have an idea about this?
