Description

Hi,

I have configured advanced dynamic display block and created 5 nodes but all the slides are appearing one below the other and there is no slideshow effect. Followed all the text instructions and also created views and instance. But haven't changed preprocess functions as I am not using custom pager. Glad to give you more information, if needed.

Thanks,

Probably you use the block from the view instead of the ddblock instance. (the instance has ddblock in the link when you hover the configure link in the blocks configuration page.)

Another cause can be that you did not set advanced in the ddblock instance configuration page.

You need to add the content preprocess function to your template.php file of the theme you use.

Do you have a link to the Internet site?

Hope this helps you further, please let me know.

Hi,

Here is the link: http://volunteerinfo.net/drupalsand/

I have also added ddblock functions to template.php of my theme.

Not sure how to use the block from an instance or how to set it as advanced in ddblock instance.

I do added new instance of ddblock.

Thanks,

You are using the views block instead of the ddblock instance for the views block

The instance has ddblock in the link when you hover the configure link in the block configuration page.

Click the configure link of the ddblock instance and configure the block.
You will find the advanced setting there.

After configuration are saved place this block in a region or a node.

Hope this helps you further, please let me know.

Its working now perfectly. As you mentioned before, the problem was using the view instead of the ddblock instance.
Thank you so much for all your help.
Its really a wonderful module and nice to have it on the main page.
