I fixed this on the OSOM site you referenced above. If you are using OpenPublish, you can refine what is displayed in your feeds by setting the RSS display fields here: admin/content/node-type/article/display/rss and also by creating templates for them; i.e., views-view-row-rss.tpl.php. I'll make sure the proper RSS settings get included in the next release.
