Is there a way to use it with "no nodes" view?

Description
I have created my own type of view for a custom table. I have coded some actions to make it work with Views Bulk Operations; but it would be nice to allow users to edit some fields, not just "delete" them.
How can I do this? or it is a "feature request"?
