First off, kudos on the user interface! Way to seamlessly integrate taxonomy!

Similar to the other menu module, I'd love to be able to choose which menu items are expanded to show their children by default.

Please download the latest version of the navigation.module. It now supports multiple active menu items, and offers the option to set a menu item as always enabled.
