Video upload repeated Error

I am new to drupal and just install it for my website. I downloaded the video module and enabled all the modules that go along with the video module. Then I go to create content and try to upload my .wmv video but everytime either a small video or large video I get the same error screen:

The requested URL could not be retrieved

I have tried numerous video formats as well but got the same error. Can anyone help me to debug this problem I am having.
