hi poeple,

i need module that enable me to upload several photos/images that will be transitioned automatically. Which module is recommended?

also, is there a list of basic modules i should download? I'm new at this so it will be nice to get the names of basic modules someone is likely to use anyway during work...

also, is there any recommened theme out there? right now i'm using "magazeen" but i wonder if there is another theme that is more flexible.

Not sure what you mean by "transitioned."

If you go to http://drupal.org/project/modules, the default display is now sorted by popularity based on actual usage data. You'll notice that Views, Token, CCK, Filefield and Imagefield are now at the top of the list. I can't imagine building a serious Drupal-based system without them. Imagecache also is essential (and will be part of core Drupal 7).

i'll try to be more clear:
1. i want my photos will be changed automatically (for example every X seconds).
I saw this list http://drupal.org/node/418616 but i can't decide which one (if any) will be good enough. There are so many modules so i'm a bit lost... if someone know a better module it will be great. I think it should be a basic module.

2. The other thing i want is actually similar to the first one but i want also to add the ability for user to slide the photos. i found it in these 2 modules: views Slideshow and ImageFlow. Imageflow seems to be very cool module [in this demo http://finnrudolph.de/ImageFlow] but i wonder if there is another module that also enlare the image when user click on it.
