main site is www.stuffslashersaw.com
test site is www.stuffslashersaw.com/test_site

Did you follow step 5 in UPGRADE.txt?

Clearly, you're going to want to navigate to www.yoursite.com/update.php. You'll need to make an edit of that php file to disable access checking. Run the update script, and you'll be good to go.

I have the same problem upgrading from 4.6.5. The update.php page doesn't choose any system module version for me, and if I select it manually it "completes" the upgrade with no errors in about 5 seconds, then reports:

"The following queries were executed

system module

Update #1
No queries"

Which I assume is too brief for the page. If I browse to other pages, it gives me errors similar to those above (or others that indicate no database updates were applied). On the other hand, it's definitely reading my user preferences, so it must be CONNECTING to the database.

How does one apply the db patches manually?

Okay, halt... ya'll backed up your database right?

Start your updates from #129 NOT #100.

This should get you started on the database updates for drupal 4.7

Oooh! Just got mine to work. Try updating from update 119 (not sure if that's exactly the right one, but it made my site work).

The update picks 129 for itself. Leaving it with that or switching to 119 both end up running no updates at all.

Has anyone figured out what was going wrong in the original post. I am getting the same errors, going from 4.6.3 to 4.7.3. (I've updated two other sites from earlier version of 4.6 with no problem whatsoever, but on this particular site when I upgrade I get no confirmation or listing of database queries that have been run).

I had the same exact situation....i did the upgrade from #129....same thing. Then i tried the upgrade from #119. I got a few database errors but I proceeded to my site anyways and so far everything looks normal...no errors.
