how to activate track tab

Dear members, I kindly ask for your support.
On my Drupal 5.16 page I cannot activate the track tab (I need to check the visitors on every post). Previously, I searched over the forums and I put in practice all the recommendation I found (activation of the tracker module, the CCK module, the statistics module, the permissions/access). Moreover. I have an older site with Drupal 5.1 where everything functions with the same settings and the track module is active.
Could you advice me what do I miss?

The tracker module is what you want. I don't really have any suggestions if that isn't working though.

It seems to be the necessary condition. I did that but probably there is something else that I didn't well configured.
