Issue Summary

The doc team links block seems like it could use a reorg and cleanup.
I don't seem to have the edit rights or I'd do it myself. Here's what I'd like to see:

  • About Drupal documentation
  • Style guide
  • Projects
  • Group page
  • Mailing list archives
  • Issues
  • Things to do:
    • Common tasks
    • Review recent updates
    • Find pages with comments
    • Fix untagged pages

Note that these are basically the same links that are there now, just rearranged and the text pared down. The exception is "Things to do" which would just be text (not a link)

There's also a related issue here: http://drupal.org/node/581754.

+1 on this idea. ...

Maybe put "projects" under "things to do", though? And I think "things to do" could move up to the top, right after "about drupal documentation"?

Maybe make another header called "Documenation team", and put mailing list and group page under that, along with a link to http://drupal.org/contribute/documentation/join

And wouldn't a link to http://drupal.org/contribute/documentation be useful too? There are a lot of useful things there.

I'm game to change this up as needed. This is just a regular Drupal menu block so adding plain text items isn't really feasible without some tinkering. I'm going to remove the untagged pages link since the current run is done. I'll add it back when we decide to proceed with tagging more of the handbooks.

I went ahead and made the text changes, along with the initial reordering. I didn't do things to do since we need to figure out what that link is (see comment above), so continue to discuss here and I'll make the changes as we go.
