The code should use Drupal variables named nodewords_basic_use_teaser_$content_type but it uses a different variable.

update_hook_6302 have wrong numbering. 63xx is for 6.x-3.x branch and the next after 1.x is 2.x

I have seen afterwards you have committed this 6302 code to head and the changelog still says 1.x what made me thinking you develop 1.x in HEAD now.

Additional DO NOT SKIP 2.x, please. Override the 2.x branch. I'm pretty sure Robrecht will not work on this branch any longer as he haven't done it for over one year as I know. If he really like to get his code, he's free to get it from CVS. CVS do not loose the history... and you don't need to skip this version.
