rszrama commentedHmm, I'm not sure I totally understand the nature of the report. Are you saying that some products have changed SKUs and you were expecting your sales reports to pick up the change? If that's the case, the reports are actually generated from the uc_ordered_products table which records the SKU at the time of sale. In other words, later updates to SKUs would not affect previous orders. If that's not what you're explaining, can you maybe provide a little more info?

techypaul commentedHey Ryan,
Sorry. I'll try again.
I entered a lot of products and then in discussions with the maintainer of Power Products I have changed my format of SKUs to suit the new AutoSKU that might come along. I have not yet opened or taken any sales so I simply went back to the products and changed their SKU from the old style format to the new one. I happened to go into reports to look at what needs ordering already (because I only got 1s of some items to get it entered) and I noticed that the old SKUs were being listed not the new ones even though I have over written them in the various stock pages.
Do I need to clear something to pick up the new SKUs? I am happy with keeping the old SKUs if they had been sold (makes sense for historical reasons etc), but not for items I have yet to sell.
Thanks,
Paul.

rszrama commentedOk, so your probably is strictly limited to the stock report?
techypaul commentedSeems so, I have attached pics from different areas to show you.
Thanks,

techypaul commentedHi,
Really sorry to bump this, but I go live in 2 days and I am very worried this will cause me problems. As I have not gone live yet, can I somehow rebuild this table?
FYI, I changed a product this morning that used an old style SKU to the new one. The old SKU and stock levels etc stay in the stock list but the new SKU is also added with the correct stock/thresholds etc. I went in and changed the stock levels and checked the reports. The new SKU was updated but the old wasn't so I guess its just left there.
I can assume that ubercart is picking up on the SKU change and updating that table in particular. I assume this is a bug as if you wanted to continue to track stock from on a per SKU basis you would create a new item entirely would'nt you?
Thanks,
Paul.

tr commentedMarking this as duplicate of #737790: Products SKU update did not transfer correctly to Stock (uc_stock) module. Although that issue is newer, it has a proposed fix, so please try out the fix and leave comments in that issue.
