What was it you found that fixed the problem? I actually created the 6 version Oct 2nd, which overrides theme_panels_pane(). Turns out panels-6.x-3.1 (Oct 19th) got rid of that function. Right now I'm looking into how to theme with the new panels, you sure it works for you?

Ok, I made some modifications to -dev and it works on my local, could you test it out?

Just tested and with 2 column stacked and the left and right pane with Accordian it fails.

The left pane works ok (although i can't seem to get the 1st pane to collapse auto), but the right pane soesn't use it?

You can look at: http://altiorn.t-wipje.nl/testfront/

1) one pane must always be open at any one time :( unfortunate stipulation of UI accordion (http://docs.jquery.com/UI/Accordion)
1) you're right, multiple columns of accordion style conflict -- good find. Working on it now
