Description

Hallo,

I have updated to release 3.2 and discovered that in this version the user is able to delete the default image, if this setting is used. This image will be deleted and can not be uploaded again.

can someone reproduce this?

Thanks,
dendie

This sounds highly unlikely, the only things that changed between 3.1 and 3.2 was a syntax fix, a translation fix, and a simple test fix. No changes were made to default image handling. I tried to reproduce this problem but I'm not sure what you mean by "the user is able to delete the default image". The default image isn't even shown when creating new content, it's only shown on display if the user never uploaded an image at all to the node.

I got this behaviour also in 3.1, but can not reproduce it on a vanilla drupal installation.

I mean that when the user does not select a image-file and save the node, he sees the default image. When he edits the node again, he sees the default image like he has uplouded it himselves. He can remove the image and upload a new one. If he removes it, the default image will be deleted from the filesystem.

I spend a day to find the problem and I discovered that the problem is with the ImageField Tokens module.
