I have a clean drupal 6.14 install with rootcandy module set for administration section only. I go to the configuration page via top nav icons.

I don't see the icon lists for the config options, just the regular drupal lists. Of course the theme setting is switched on, to show icons. This is enabled by default and I didnt touch it. Just dont see any icon lists.

can you post a screenshot please?

As in your example, http://drupal.org/node/504164

The icons for Actions, Clean Urls, Date & Time, dont show at all. Jus the usual drupal dt lists.

Also, in all of the CSS files, I cannot discover any CSS that would do this (to style those dd/dt lists). How come?

I see, thats called "compact mode"

if you visit /admin there is a link saying "Hide descriptions"
click that and you will see icons instead of lists
