Error adding a relation with 'Requires approval'

If I add a relation with 'Requires approval' checkedd, this relation appears with No in the 'Requires approval' column. It's just vice versa when unchecking it. I don't have the environment yet to check where the error is (to check if the requestee is asked for approval, e.g.).
