If i try to signup more than once, i always get the message that, this user already signed up for this node. But because i would need this functionality, i wanted to know if there is a hack around this?

Is it that you want one user to be able to sign up themselves + other people?
If so, this is a duplicate of #45248: Ability to signup for a friend. I'm assuming that's the case -- reopen and explain if I'm wrong :)
