Just Uploaded WEB and filefield doesnt works!!

Hi, I created a web where there is one node type with a filefield. A file is attached so then other users can download them. The thing worked perfect on localhost but I now uploaded to a host and the web works perfectly the only problem is that when a create a node of this type, I upload a file, the node creates but the file is never uploaded, so when I try to download the file obviously it tells me "page not found". I checked through FTP if the file is uploaded...or even if its uploaded to a different location i choosed but no, it's not uploaded. I dont know what's heppening! When I create the node I dont receive an error message or something, it seems that everything works fine.
I am using also the module filefield paths to choose where to sent the files...
