Hey there,

i need to create a dashboard for my social network page. i already set up a page with several blocks in panels. some are fine as they are, but some, like the image block and the personal info block first have to be filled in by the user. these fields don't even appear at all.
does anyone have a suggestion for me how to set up a panels dashboard, that shows the user blocks that can be populated with information, and to change the same blocks later into some that show the information filled in by the user (with an edit button).

i don't need a whole instruction, but i just stuck and don't know which way to go to get the best results.

What content type(s) are you using for this dashboard?

Right now the easiest way to do this is probably with nodes, and to make sure the user has edit access to the nodes. THat's not the best way to do this, but there isn't currently a specialized content type to make the workflow better. Doing that would require an additional development effort. It is the kind of thing I would like to do more of in the future, though, but I don't know when that future will be.
