I can't replicate this problem in the latest code. If you altered the view at all it will get 'stuck' with values you don't want. Look at the views list. If you can see an option to 'revert' the gallery view, it has been altered and it is no longer obeying instructions from the default view. You then either have to revert it to go back to the default or make your changes manually.

It may happen when you have two views (a custom one plus a clone of the original).
In the Gallery content type you will then see two attachments... one resulting in the
lightbox2 link (even with lightbox2 being disabled).

I'm experiencing the same issue with 6.x-1.3; the link is pretty annoying as I'm using Colorbox instead of Lightbox2. Since Colorbox isn't supported, I'd like to get rid of the useless link, but I don't see an option to disable the link.

I have checked the suggestion from #3 and I am not using a cloned gallery view.

Any ideas or suggestions?
