Was trying to get http://spaceforaname.com/galleryview to work with imagefield for hours until finding this plugin and i'm completely astonished at how easy it is to set up with djembegallery.
Are you planning to support http://spaceforaname.com/galleryview as well in the future?

ndwilliams3 commentedI agree great module! Exactly what I was looking for. Had the same issue trying to create a gallery from imagefield (multiple). I agree that Galleryview would be a great addition.

ndwilliams3 commentedAnother option would be to integrate the Galleria module. It has a similar layout to galleryview.

ardas commentedGreetings, thanks for your request. We will implement the output method based on this gallery but a little bit later since the developer is busy with some payed work. He will attend to this gallery asap.

Ela commentedI've spent so much time trying to find a great gallery but simple to use.. and this one is great!! Thank you so much for providing it! :) I also would love to see the galleryview added to it :)

ndwilliams3 commentedI am working on an implementation of galleryview for GalleryAPI. I will post it when I get it working.

ndwilliams3 commentedBelow is the galleryview output method I was working on. It is a modification of the djembegallery code. So far, the admin presets work, the javascript files are added correctly and the html outputs correctly, but can't get it to work! I can't figure out what the problem is. I have attached the file if somebody wants to take a look and see what the problem is. Just add it to the methods folder and enable it under modules.

ndwilliams3 commentedFigured out my problem. Here is a working version of Galleryview. Changed to Gallerview 2.0. No support for overlays, just images. Extract and add it to the methods folder and enable it under modules.

kirilius commentedI agree with the first poster: a great module and I also agree that GalleryView or Galleria-type of output should be supported. The current Djembe method is not very usable when you have more than a handful of images. It just dumps all thumbnails below the main image and sometimes the area occupied by thumbnails is much larger that the main image itself. A nice way to present the thumbnails would be some "carousel"-type of plugin. jCarousel Lite is a good idea.

energel commentedgalgalleryview from ndwilliams3 works really great! Should be added to main release or separate contrib. Must have!

kirilius commentedndwilliams3, thank you, your package works pretty well!
I have a question though: is there a way to disable the automatic start of the slideshow (Djembe has that option)? I want my site users to manually go through the slides. The slideshow should be an option in my view.

ndwilliams3 commentedI needed the galleryview option for a site and shortly after stopped development for the client. The code was fairly simple and similar to the djembe code. Because of the simplicity and similarity, I figured it would be added fairly quickly. Not sure what happened. If I had the time, I would release it as a add-on module. I have moved into another job and don't do as much drupal work. Although I am trying to push Drupal! Tough getting a Wordpress crowd on board.
As far as the automatic start, I am not sure. It has been so long since I have looked at the project.

mailman0 commentedIn galgalleryview.module the width and height of frames (thumbs) is locked as a square because option_frame_width gets passed for width and height (compare line 66 to 65).
Thanks for this great plugin!
