Hi.
I'm a total newbie and have just installed Drupal 6.14 on my Mac (intel, running Snow Leopard). For Apache/PHP5/MySQL I'm using MAMP. The installation seemed to go through smoothly and I have a database up and running. The problem I find now when I've started to go through the 'drupal cookbook' is though that several menu options seems to be missing, like for example options for creating and administering users and roles (see screenshot here; http://www.freddiekarlbom.se/images/drupal.png).
Has anyone encountered this problem before and can help me? Have I perhaps somehow created a root account that doesn't have administrator privileges, and if so; how do I create an administrator account? Has my install been flawed in some way though it doesn't give any error messages?
