I known that already, but I think that should be pointed out, as that could be of interest for the current maintainer.

I am changing the title to give more visibility to the report (in this way, who checks the recent posts can notice this post).

Hello Edo and thank you for your interest in the module.

Could you please start submitting patches so we both can see how things will go?

Hi,
I'd also like to be considered as a co-maintainer for this project.
I currently am 90% completed with a version of this module for Drupal 6.
I've attached the current code for perusal, it is operational, but needs a few feature enhancements and a bit of testing.

Omar,

Since I'm not going to use a line from what you have now, it cannot be considered as a patch. I can submit you the new application which differs from yours. Since in Drupal community you like joining forces, I can only offer my module converted from Joomla! to Drupal. We can agree this way:

1. You accept me as a co-maintainer (or if you don't have time for this project you just can pass the rights of maintainer to me for the prosper of the community)
2. I convert the module to Drupal 6.x and submit it to CVS
3. We/You update your old versions for 5.x and 4.x to the new one
4. We give support together and keep it up to date

Let me know what do you think about it.

Regards,

Edvard

Hi Dan,

I tested your attached proposal. Gives me this error after creation of a new node.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home4/charmweb/public_html/sites/vampire.charmweb.net/modules/gtranslate/gtranslate.class.inc on line 17.

I'm using Drupal 6.13.

The all-new module works fine for me Edvard.

Please apply for a CVS Account.
