bueditor - Prepend "http://" to links added to posts

I've read a few posts regarding this issue, but don't understand how to rectify the problem.

Using bueditor. Some site members don't place the http:// in the "Link URL" field so the link gets turned into something like this:

http://www.mysite.com/www.google.com

Is their a way to automatjically prepend the "http://" to the URL somewhere in the bueditor module?
