hello,

im using "ShareThis" module for sharing and bookmarking... the problem that i encountered with, is that iframe popup is notworking... it only show sharethis icon...

any help is appreciated...

sorry... i dont have. my drupal installation is on my local PC.

i followed the installation and configuration process of sharethis module. my config is to set the sharethis in full node view. the icon showed'up at the bottom of the page, inline with the "comment" link... the problem is that(when clicking the icon) theres no popup('the iframe') being display. but when i config the sharethis to open the services in new window, it work!

i guess the popuo('iframe') is my problem.

any idea?

I just noticed I'm having the same problem on...

...don't know when it started. I removed and re-installed the Sharethis module, no help. Let me know if there is any other info you need.

I'm actually having the same problem as well, so I went to the "Get the code" page for Sharethis:

http://sharethis.com/publishers/getbutton?type=stapi

And under "additional options", I picked the pop-up option. This way, when people click on the link, it opens up a little popup, showing the services. I know, it's only a workaround, but hopefully this will be fixed in the next version.

sad... the sharethis module for drupal5 is working fine... but i wonder why its not in drupal6... i hope a good improvement will be available soon... :)

Edit the node.tpl.php file to put your generated code from Sharethis.com (as above) in it at your desired place. Avoid putting it in any "if" arguments such as

Hi,

Why cant use Addthis instead of Sharethis which creates lot of problems??

With Sharethis you always need to face the following problems,
1) Sharethis pop-up will not work in IE6, also sharethis support team also closed the official support in this.
2) Sharethis slows down you page loading time
3) ShareThis Window will hiding Flash object in Firefox. So you better go for "Addthis".
